I love paddling and hope to share some stories here.
I've taken part in many multi-day sea kayak trips and loved them. I'll slowly try to add information about them here. Right now I"m very excited about two trips with Gabriola Sea Kayaking (http://www.kayaktoursbc.com/) this summer, one in Kyuquot and the other in the Broughton Archipelago.
I done many multi-day trips (2 to 10 days) over the last 10+ years , some guided and some not, in the southern Gulf Islands, Broken Group, Johhstone Straight, the Broughton Archipeligo, God's Pocket (only once so far - I need to get back there!), Clayuquot, Nuchatlitz, and Baja. As a teen and before coming to sea kayaking, I raced sprint/Olympic kayaks. I'm also an Outirgger canoe paddler with the Ocean River Paddling Club.
I finally bought my own kayak, a Current Designs Gulfstream, in the fall of 2009. I joined the South Island Sea Kayak Association (SISKA) for more opportunities to paddle locally and meet other paddlers.
